About Us

The Posy Palace is the realisation of a long-held dream for florist Sara Oliver.

Sara trained in floristry at Oaklands College, St Albans, where not only did she pass every exam with distinction but also won the coveted student of the year award. She then worked for a number of local florists gaining invaluable experience of the industry. However, as a long-term resident of Walkern, Sara was keen to open a flower shop in the village where she could develop her own style of creative, contemporary floristry. When the perfect premises became available in 2009 she took the plunge and has never looked back.

Sara has now established herself as one of Hertfordshire's leading florists and has built up a loyal clientele. Her stunning arrangements have become highly sought after particularly among the county's brides. They have also been enjoyed by a number of celebrities including Barbara Windsor and Patsy Kensit who both received Posy Palace bouquets when they left Eastenders and Holby City respectively.
